S3 spoiled part of Back to the Future to me in that I know the car can fly :(
I don't think the show actually mentions The Goonies but every website I looked at basically told me that the whole show is one big reference to the movie.
Steven King's Carrie apparently had a lot of inspiration on Stranger Things too.
