2020-09-07 20:34:52 +0000 UTCEarly on this is 1 of my favorite episodes because while it is really sad it's also amazing from a writing standpoint. I love seeing how intelligent and loving Hughes is. Honestly seeing how much this family loves each other as the series has gone on even if it was for a short time. As soon as he started figuring stuff out I was immediately worried and I was right. I love how we get to see some of his combat skills as well as the durability of the sins. Just trying to figure out what he's thinking during the time leading up to his death it's a great mystery. That final scene with him and Envy is so intense and dark. What Envy does at the end is so dirty and such a mindfuck. I honestly think that the funeral was 1 of the 1st times I cried because of anime.
