Interesting about the wide open sky! Hard to even imagine since I've always had the sky over me XD

2019-09-30 18:57:52 +0000 UTCI can imagine that a combination of the oppressive gravity pushing on them and the wide open sky would give the Martian's Earth sickness. It really screws up their inner ears. Even if Martians train at 1 G and can simulate Earth, I'm sure the simulation is different than the real thing plus you can shut down the sim at any time. :-) .

2019-09-29 17:41:42 +0000 UTCRegarding the meds Martians must take when in Earth: You’ve already noted the relative accuracy the show takes when it comes to physics (albeit a few bows to dramatic license to move the story along). It pretty much does the same for the biological sciences. The authors of the books and producers of the series make it a priority to be as accurate as possible.
