2019-10-28 21:54:20 +0000 UTCRemember when we first saw Bobbie with the Hybrid looming over her, there was a drone, a red light was blinking, then we see a white glow emanating from the hybrid's chest that whites out the scene. That was the explosive control device being activated. It's not until this point, several episodes later that it's revealed. Great storytelling and attention to detail.

Adam Savage from Mythbusters :) From the books, Interesting point about the guns, most of the guns have self-propelled bullets, and not explosively driven ones, so they are recoil-free. This is because a standard 'slug thrower' as they call them would have a kickback that would act like a thruster in zero G, and on some bodies would actually exceed escape velocity. Note as well, that the disassembly of the Arborghast took place at the same time as the hybrid getting burned up in the drive. Another funny little detail. Its good to know that car roofbox manufacturers have a future in the expanse. The storage pod Mei is put into is a car roof box haha. Great reaction. Enjoy your break, you'll need your energy for next season haha. :)
