Quirks do have an effect on yoir personality and with hers finding someone she likes even a little would just be like going all in for someone and theres too many shitty people in the world for that. And its not like she was being super creepy or going crazy like Toga, because of her quirk she only knows how to tell someone she loves them and the stronger she feels that way the more its gonna ruin her if they turn out to be shitty person. Gentle and La Brava finding each other was the best possible outcome since they both felt completely alone and isolated in the world
