FYI, considering that the lineal ascendant homicide is serious crime, the court must have lowered the penalty of Ji-young for being threatened by her father killing her mom and sexually abusing her. We can see that she's still very young but already done her time in prison. We have so-called "stand-your-ground law" here, but the court approval rates of self-defense claim are extremely rare. We as Koreans think the law is nothing but the name. Even if Ji-young claimed that it was her self-defense, possibility of being not guilty is very small. BTW, 'Sae-byeok' means 'dawn' in Korean. That's why both Gi-hun and Ji-young said "It's pretty name."
