oof that rough, I'm sorry :( I think with my dad he held it in for the most part but got better when he went to therapy, because even bottling it up isn't healthy. Generational Trauma doesn't get talked enough, regarding how real it can be, and how you can inflict onto kids , even without meaning to

2021-11-24 10:20:26 +0000 UTCI completely understand what you mean. It can definitely be traumatizing to have parents yelling all the time. My father had an angry streak for most of my childhood. Now, even if my parents are just yelling so they can hear each other from another room, it's stressful.

2021-11-23 18:56:52 +0000 UTCI never liked fighting as a kid, myself, and even as an adult. I don't handle it well, so TOTALLY related to Sheldon in this episode. I even hate raised voices,. My dad has gotten a lot better, but he had a lot of anger early on based on his hard childhood so he did have some moments of high tense energy/yelling ect, but learned ways to cope with the anger-maybe he should still read that book! It sounds interesting, lol
