I’m not sure how deep they will go into the lives of the Briarwoods before Whitestone given the short glimpse we already got and how few episodes are left of the first season, so I won’t go deep into it, but Delilah did have magical powers before, I think she classified as a wizard? But they had some political power where they came from, especially Delilah. Not sure what Sylas did pre-vampire aside from looking nice on his wife’s arm though x) I loved that we got a glimpse into how Sylas became a vamp and how Delilah got the book. Really brings some depth into their relationship dynamic and shows just how far they’d both go for each other.

Ah yes, Astral Projection, aka Skype. ^.^ The "you know I'm in love with you" line was lifted directly from the livestream. They changed it a bit though, because in the livestream he kisses her after he says that. But then, they'd been teasing the romance, at least on Vax's side for a lot longer at that point. Maybe they felt it would be rushed too much given the shorter nature of the series, so they're holding off on that part for a while.
