This is an interesting episode to watch with people. I'm a bit more romantically conservative-as in I it would take me a while to sleep with someone, and I'd probably say I love you at some point very soon after. Or before. But when I watched this with my dad he could understand Penny's freak out on commitment as those words do mean differently than sex to other people.

2022-02-15 15:13:23 +0000 UTCGreat reaction as always!! I have a hard time with this episode, just on the fact that they haven't said "I love you" yet. Some people have a harder time, and some just need serious time in therapy, but they've been together for a bit now, and been sleeping together for a bit. Can't speak to others, but I can't imagine having a physical relationship with someone and not knowing that I feel love for them. Don't know about others, but this is a common trope on television, where people are sleeping together and one doesn't want to say they love the other. They definitely both need therapy! With Wheaton, I love the character. It was horrific what he did. Honestly, it is kind of inexcusable. There are some that will do anything in the name of winning the game though, and nothing is off limits. You have to hand it to him... he did win! Don't think that is the mindset of someone I would want to surround myself with, but it makes a great character to play off of Sheldon! As for Leonard's mom, Beverly, You had some great insights with her character here, Not going to say too much, and give anything away, but great insights!
