I didn't read this chapter in the manga, but I heard that in the manga, Shoto's mom snapped out of it when she heard Shoto cry, then panicked and used her ice quirk to try and heal his burn (which ended up making it worse), so his scar is actually a frost burn. That makes it so much sadder T_T All seriousness aside, Midoriya and Bakugo in this episode remind me of when I'd go to a friend's house and their mom ends up yelling at them about something, and I just sit there like o.0 and try not to make eye contact. This episode is the definition of secondhand embarrassment. Also, the walls are as thin as paper in the Todoroki house. Not compatible at all with the level of family drama XD
