Yay - one of my favourite shows ever! Chi’s Corner basically explained the foundations of the show - characters are based on fairytales and stories, how Monty Oum (R.I.P his awesome soul) and the team animated, the music and what to do about copyright claims).
I guess to clarify, the trailer order is Red, White, Black then Yellow before moving onto Volume 1.
Also, to introduce you to the meme that basically sums up the show...
It’s also a gun.

One thing I forgot, RT is generally okay with reaction videos. As long as you don't make money off ads you won't need to edit the episodes at all. And if something gets copyright claimed it usually is just the yt bots doing it automatically; contacting RT in those cases should solve it! From what I've seen this only starts being an issue at all with Volume 4 tho, iirc

Ooh this is unexpected but I'm so happy you're watching this show! Some stuff you might want to know:
RWBY is pronounced "Ruby" (Ruby Rose is also the name of the protag)
She is indeed based on Little Red Riding Hood! All characters are losely based on fairytales, myths and sometimes historical figures - have fun guessing! :D
The budget for this was very low in early volumes and even though Monty Oum (bless his soul) and his team did incredible work, it does show. Just keep in mind while watching that this first volume was done by only a couple of ppl and they used software that wasn't even meant for animation like this :'D
The whole first volume is less than 2h long with some episodes being like 5min and there are lots of 2 parters. Unless you're gonna binge the season I reccomend watching it like this:
Episode 1
Episodes 2&3
Epidodes 4&5
Episodes 6&7
Episode 8
Episodes 9&10
Episodes 11&12
Episodes 13&14
Episode 15
Episode 16
It's your decision of course, I just think it makes more sense like this :D
Also the music is amazing, you should totally check out the soundtrack after watching! Not even necessarily as a reaction but the lyrics often give a lot of insight to the characters too and the songs are just beautiful, you don't want to miss that
