Ohhh interesting! I didn't know they were separated into seasons like that. That's really sad about Monty though.
I think I got that Ruby was two years younger but I didn't know their actual ages.
Oh yeah! Definitely looking forward to try and figure out who Blake and Yang are.

Loved your reaction and am a fairly big fan of RWBY so going to enjoy your reactions.
A few things to say about this series so you're clued in on some things. The first is that RWBY does it in volumes as in a book so Volume 1, 2, and 3 are considered Season 1.
Then volumes 4, 5, and 6 are classed as Season 2 and so on.
From what we know is that Monty and the other writers have materiel for about 12 volumes. Also, that between volumes 2 and 3 Monty sadly passed away from a allergy reaction to some medication that was given to him.
It not explained in the show but Yang, Blake and Weiss are around 16 and RWBY is 14 at the start of V1. So, RWBY was moved to Beacon 2 years early.
You will find out more about the characters and as you go through the volume. Also, if you want after each volume you can listen to soundtrack as you can longer and expanded songs that give more insight on the characters.
One thing to do is try to spot clues that will help you figure out what fairy tale each character is based on.
The other thing is that V1 had such a low budget that meant that Monty did a lot of the work himself with a few extra people helping that is why you get the shadow people and the animation is a little shaky at times but they get better and then in V4 they switch to a new animation program.
One last thing is the music is done by Jeff Williams and most of the vocals are done by him and his daughter Casey Lee Williams who was around 13/14 at the time of recording.
