Thanks for the info but I stopped reading after Ruby. Going to try to figure out what each character is based on on my own :) I guessed Ruby was Red Riding Hood and someone else said I was correct about Weiss being Snow White but I'm not entirely sure yet who everyone else is.

Also, this is explained in the show but all names in RWBY (for the most part) are all based on colours or the idea of a colour. Ruby – Red – Based on Red riding Hood. Weiss Schnee – Is German and translated to White Snow in English and is based on Snow White. Blake – Black (Blake is an old English word for Black) and is based on Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Yang – Yellow (Yang is Yellow in Maderian) and is based on Goldilocks Team JNPR Jeanne d'Arc – Jeanne is Yellow in French and based on Joan of Arc. Nora – Light and is based on Thor. Pyrrha – Red in Greek and is based on Achilles Lie Ren Based on Mulan and is voice my Monty in V1 and V2 and then his brother voices him in V3 and beyond. If you haven't notice Team JNPR are opposite genders from who they are based on as they each have at some point pretended to be a different gender such as Joan of Arc dressing like a Man. Now the next few RWBY episodes are going to be short so watch episodes 9 and 10, 11 and 12, and 13 and 14 in one video.I;m sure other will fill in more info you.
