Yup. That's him - Julian Glover :P I couldn't believe it either. I think he was an Imperial officer in one of the old Star Wars films too.

2020-05-01 16:38:48 +0000 UTCThank you so much for another phenomenal movie reaction! I am so happy that you've watched all three now and really enjoyed them a lot overall. I just love these movies. First, in regards to the immortality that comes with the Holy Grail... the Knight told Indiana Jones that the Grail must remain within the boundary of the seal. "That is the boundary and the price of immortality." This means that so long as those who drink from the Grail stay within the boundary of the cavern within the Crescent Moon like the Knight who remained behind to guard the Holy Grail had done, then they would have immorality. However, because Indiana and his father left after Elsa stepped over the seal with the Grail when the cavern began to crumble, they are no longer immortal. Had they stayed, then they could have lived forever. That's what the Knight meant about immortality having a price. Now... I absolutely love this movie. It's my favorite of the trilogy because I love Henry Jones Sr... played of course by Sir Sean Connery who I love as an actor so much. And it also has both Sallah and Marcus in this movie again like they were in The Raiders of the Lost Ark. As much as I absolutely loved Short Round and I liked Willie from Temple of Doom... I still like The Last Crusade just a tiny bit more. For the characters, the overall storyline, and for its humor as well. Also... I love the major storyline and the treasure they were seeking in their quest for the Holy Grail, including the legends, religion, and history behind it. And I also love that we even got a backstory in this movie that shows us how and why Indiana becomes an archeologist and a seeker for lost and priceless treasures from throughout history. The brief past storyline with young Indiana also introduces us to Indy's father and how he was raised, and it shows us why Indiana is so deathly afraid of snakes as well. I love it! And then... I am actually happy that Elsa turned out to be a Nazi. I didn't expect that twist and I love that she didn't remain as a love interest or Indiana. In all honesty, I am annoyed he has a new love interest for each movie, just like Bond does in all of the James Bond movies. I wish Willie, or even Marian from the first movie could have been brought back in instead. Overall... a fabulous movie and I really enjoyed watching it again with you as you watched it for the first time. I love Indiana of course, as well as his father, Sallah, and Marcus. I definitely missed Shorty again, but at least we had him for one of the three movies within this phenomenal trilogy. If there is one side character I love the most, I think I would definitely choose Shorty. Although, I really do love Sallah as well. What a fun team. Thank you again, Eric! Until your next movie reactions...
