Yeah I'm not sure why but I do know that Quantum of Solace's director was stressed out during the making of the movie and it also happened to be around the time of the Writer's Strike, so perhaps all that contributed to it. Casino Royale's director also made another James Bond movie called Goldeneye and that one features a Game of Thrones actor interestingly.
