Experiencing technical difficulties

My father has a friend who can either fix the hard drive or recover the data pretty inexpensively but they live in Connecticut. Rush ordered a more reliable external hard drive to relocate the data and setting up a better backup system.
Movie reactions should be unimpeded. Originally planned on having Grave of the Fireflies next Friday but might move it up if the week feels kinda empty. Anything we fall behind on will be released all at once when I recover the files.
I will keep you updated on any developments.

My internal SSD failed last year because I had an accident with my laptop and a recovery data company couldn't recover the data but since yours is external, hopefully you have better luck. I don't know what the manufacturer is but in my experience, stay away from Seagate hard drives.
