Varied positive updates!
Added 2020-05-29 23:58:36 +0000 UTCMy new external hard drive has arrived and my father will be making a round trip to Connecticut tomorrow to drop it and my dead external hard drive off. Shouldn't take more than a few days for his friend to migrate the data over. At that point my dad will make another round trip to pick it up. I'll pay my dad for his time and gas and his friend for his labor, and hopefully I can get everything originally scheduled to you soon.
Second update! If you were around last May, you know that I really hurt my back then, to the point where I couldn't sit in my chair for more than 30 minutes without extreme pain. And while the pain tapered off in the coming months, it still flairs up and becomes debilitating once in a while and I'm legitimately afraid every time I have to bend over to pick something up. Thanks to your support here on Patreon, I was finally going to be able to afford chiropractic treatment... and that's when the lockdown started.
The good news is that my high school physics teacher and good friend told me there is a place two blocks from me that is opening up again. I have an appointment first thing tomorrow morning and I'm hoping it will mean that I can finally be pain free. The doctor told me what precautions their office is taking for the pandemic and I'm satisfied with the measures they've taken, so hopefully no worries there.
Wish me luck with both the external hard drive and the chiropractor! :)
