2020-08-04 23:44:19 +0000 UTCKeep in mind that, other than Father, Pride was the first homunculus. It would make sense for him to be stronger than his "siblings" as a result. Hoenheim even said that pride was Father's strongest trait and that Pride was the "pure essence of his father." I don't think that those photos were meant to imply that Pride has been with other leaders before. I think it was just meant to signify that his existence is a huge cover-up, and the government has been involved with protecting / watching out for him for at least fifty years. When Madam Christmas asks how word never got out, Roy rightfully points out that his "father" is the most powerful person in the country - which is true no matter how you look at it. If you're talking about Bradley, it's true in the secular power sense, but if you think about Father, it's true in every sense of the word. Fun fact: They don't really go into it much in this series, but Chris Mustang is not only Roy's foster mother, she's also his paternal aunt. She raised him after his parents died. We don't ever get much info about Roy's family, but I believe this information was dropped in the manga. It is good to see his crew back together again, even if Falman and Havoc are still missing. And General Armstrong is playing a dangerous game. She has to appear to be loyal to Bradley and the other generals, but at the same time, know when to seed information. We know she knows/dislikes Roy, so it's probably a given that they've had other interactions before Bradley summoned her to Central and she ended up taking a place in the inner circle. It would be expected for her to know something about how he thinks.
