No. That was an option under prior CBA but was eliminated in current CBA. MLB will not approve a contract that’s over the limit.

No matter who we put at 2/3 they can only be at worst the same as Josh/Polo Astros just replaced Bregman and Tuckers bats with Parades and Walker. Fine players but not elite like the two leaving
