augh Snow is such a petty petty man. It is difficult to think about Peeta going through all of that :( Hope he'll be okay eventually, though idk how long you'd need to deprogram something like that

2021-04-03 13:38:12 +0000 UTCWith Snow, he just wants to make Katniss suffer because she destroyed his perfect games and his fantasy. That’s why he just torture Peeta like that and make him fear her in order to make her feel that the thing she loves the most, in this case Peeta, it’s against her. Peeta is always trying to protect her, even when he burned the bread when they were younger on purpose so his mother would told him to feed the pigs with it, but he gave it to her instead, which was starving and that burned bread save her family. He knew he wouldn’t survive the games so he team up with the others in order to keep they away from her, then volunteered for Haymich because he wanted to be with her again and protect her like he did last time, he tried so hard to convince her he should die and she should’ve live, and when he was tortured, malnourished, he saved District 13 by warning them about the attack. But now, it’s the opposite. Now he is in so much pain and so much fear he even attempted to choke her. So now is not the Peeta who wants to protect Katniss, is the Peeta that wants to murder her, because they made him think she was evil. That’s the biggest and cruel way to make her suffer, having the man she loves wanting to kill her. They’ve been gone through so much together, it’s so sad to watch him like that :(
