I really did like Sienna even though we were with her for such a short time! GRRRR Adam. I tend to not like big bad evil characters as much as I do more nuanced villains (see Fire Lord vs. Amon, Zaheer, Kuvira). So far Salem is just bad because she's bad. Looking forward to finding out more about her though

2021-05-02 17:20:36 +0000 UTCYeah I'm pretty sure Adam is generally more hated than Salem or Cinder. My guess is that it's because we see him be awful and do awful things to characters we love and never suffer any consequences. Whereas Cinder killed a beloved character but we also see her suffer and be antagonized by her peers, putting her in a more empathatic light, in a way. And Salem is the reason behind everything but we simply never see her directly hurt anyone. She's the big bad, she's evil, but there's just no personal reason to hate her yet On another note I looove Siennas design and I really wish we could've gotten more of her in the v4 and v5 :( btw make sure to watch the Adam character short after V5! (I don't know where you're at rn)

2021-05-02 14:36:50 +0000 UTCThe handling of Sienna feels kinda cynical to me. Like the show had gotten criticism in the early seasons for using an in-universe civil rights group as their villains, so it feels like they introduced a less extreme leader to give the impression of more depth to the White Fang, but then immediatly killed her off and had Adam take over so they wouldn't have to change the story they had planned.
