I haven't watched the Tony Awards performance. I'll see if I have the time/energy for that xD
I liked Hamilton more as well but In the Heights feels more personal for me :) Glad you enjoyed watching my reactions!

I haven't read the comments on all the previous videos because I just now caught up on all of these but did you ever watch the Tony awards performance? That might be a fun one to do before the film comes out.
I have such a strong love for this show. I saw it with the OBC as part of my NYC art school's orientation perks. I recall that I wanted to go with avenue q but all of my roommates picked In the Heights so I caved to peer pressure. The one time in my life I am SO glad I let peer pressure get the better of me. I followed everything Lin did from that point on and I love that his talent is so recognized now!
I do think Hamilton is the technically better show and I love it to no end, but I will always have a special affection for in the heights, and it was so fun watching you experience it.

loved re-experiencing these with you! There was one line in the song that referenced "it's a wonderful life" which i thought was ironic cause you reacted to that film. He says something like "it's a wonderful life that I've known/ merry christmas you old building and loan." which is something George Bailey shouts at the end of the film when he's running through town towards his home at the end
