We wrapped up In the Heights last month! Going forward, it's unlikely I'll do a single video for every single song of a musical and will just react to musicals that have been made into movies, with maybe occasionally a song or two sprinkled in if there's some music that becomes a cultural phenomenon. I still have to figure out how to get past copyright issues with that as well.
I was not super excited for Loki, but it's been an absolute treat. We'll wrap that up this month. We'll also finally get a Black Widow movie.
HBO Max has not been kind to me as I've done reactions to their movies so it's unlikely I'll do Space Jam 2 when it comes out this month and The Suicide Squad when it comes out in August. I'll experiment to see what I can do to not get copyright strikes. The other movies this month will be our poll winner The Emperor's New Groove, the aforementioned Black Widow, Rush Hour 2, and the new Disney film Jungle Cruise.
Really enjoying this arc of My Hero Academia and excited to share it with you all! And this month also has my favorite episode of The Big Bang Theory yet!

2021-07-01 22:57:50 +0000 UTCFor the musicals, I know Into The Woods professional recording of the original cast is available on YouTube in its entirety - I think it might be pretty safe copyright-wise and a good start if you'd like to get into more musicals! The movie wasn't great but the original musical is both hilarious and can get very deep at times.
