Yes I also like this interpretation! Aoyamas belt being a kind of disability aid, something that's not a "cure" but rather something he has to wear all the time to be able to live somewhat comfortably. And even with that his quirk STILL causes him pain when he uses it bit longer! Don't know if Horikoshi intended it this way, but I think it's a pretty good allegory :D

2021-09-11 16:19:52 +0000 UTCThis interpretation is definitely not from me, just one of those long comments from a reactor's YouTube video but I really liked it so I thought I'd share it with you! :> So I think Aoyama is coded as a person with disability because when he talked about his quirk not being compatible with his body, it reminds me of disabled people's struggles. The way they set him up to be is that his quirk and its implications to his body are something permanent he's had to go through his entire life, something not fixable by regular improvement like everyone else, so it made me think of how its real-life counterpart is disability. So you know hehe I just thought it's nice to see a character like that and still appear so strong. (funny red herring tho HAHAHA)
