Should I have a persona?
Added 2021-10-15 12:42:37 +0000 UTCBeen thinking about this for a long time. Does it make sense for me to have some sort of persona? Something that represents me, the artist, and not an OC. I've generally avoided them, but there's lots of fun 4th wall breaking ideas that would make a persona make sense.
What do you all think? Not saying I would, but I'd like your opinion.
The options are a bit leading, but they represent my views on why and why not, so this is more a poll to see what you think about my reasoning and think that one reason might be better than the other.

I say go for it, I've designed a few shells for the robot that makes up my icon as a way to interact (read: fuck with) my characters. It helps me articulate things and it is a lot of fun to design.

2021-10-15 15:14:27 +0000 UTCI don't think that's something patreon should decide for you. I think that's something you need to decide for yourself, weigh the pros and cons. Are you willing to be tied to this character/public image for several years? Maybe the rest of your life? Jollyjack is a hamster, Zone-tan is a little girl with purple hair and hidden tentacles, etc etc.
