For me this is the weakest in the trilogy too, but I think most of it is because of the absence of Paul King, whose style I love (I like Wonka even more than his Paddington films). I still liked it quite a lot though, and I had a lot of fun with Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas's performances (and I think Emily Mortimer was probably as best as we could do without Sally Hawkins). I'm also one of the few people who actually prefers the first movie to the second, mostly because I like how it focuses more on the Browns (while I feel the second movie gives them pretty rushed arcs, some of which even get resolved during the end credits).
