A lot of the seniors at the place I work are on an Iddsi diet, they may get puree meat (it smells really gross not gonna lie) A lot of them can't swallow properly anymore so they get it thicken, even their drinks are thicken up similar to the consistency of jello. They could be on all liquid diet or have a honey like consistency or pudding consistency or nectar. (Not a dietician but I had to take a class on the IDDSI diet)

My sister has a condition called Arfid, choking is one of her fears, foods have to be a certain texture or else she won't eat it. I do adore this show, though its like a warm blanket
