2022-10-11 14:02:57 +0000 UTCso I hope you do not consider this spoilers but yes, the power source of the bloodstone and the darkhold, the scarlet witch and nearly all monsters, especially vampires in the marvel universe is the supreme arcane source derived from the first demon Cathon ( mentioned by wong in Dr Strange and the MM ) whos spells were first used to create the darkhold. Now, obviously this does change with which Marvel Comics line you are reading but I do feel that this Marvel Comic line is the one the MCU will default to because it is the most simplistic to explain and be accepted by a general movie going / tv viewing audience.
