Like you, I also saw Viren's "get a grip" talk as a projection, like he's talking to himself instead of Terry! And agreed, I'm surprised the architect didn't make the tents fireproof if the camps are for elves whose bodies can heat up. I wish the writers could've made this scene more of an unavoidable situation than "oops forgot to get out of the camping grounds when lighting those soul flames"! But the conflict did stress me out and make me worry about the future of this humans vs elves conflict at the Sunfire camp, so I guess the writers did get what they wanted out of that scene XD
