I wouldn't say there were no consequneces to Grog's experience with Craven Edge. His whole arc this season IS about his strength and where he thinks it comes from. He would have never been able to learn about his real strength with this sword who gives him the easy way out. So it taking away his strength is the biggest blow it could have dealt him.

They are kind of,,, equal but opposite, both of them being reflections of the Material Plane. The main difference being that the Feywild is a realm of light and the Shadowfell is a realm of dark. As such, they're pretty opposed to each other. The Raven Queen rules in Shadowfell, which is why Vax isn't exactly,,, welcome in the Feywild.
