Love this episode so much. Love Bob Newhart! There was a show, Newhart back when I was young. My parents loved it. Wasn't my favorite, but I loved him. His comedy is so hilarious. His stammering speech, which is something he can turn on and off, is part of MANY of his characters. Not really humor at the stammer, but the stammer making the humor even funnier. His speech is never brought up in conversation, or laughed at in any show or movie, that I have ever seen. It's just his delivery of the lines. He really is one of the greats. And btw, we aren't done with Professor Proton! Thank goodness!! Edited to add that I always assumed that Professor Proton was written with Don Herbert, aka Mr. Wizard, in mind. He was the Bill Nye of mine and Sheldon and Leonard's generation. Except SO much better. I'm biased of course, but still. lol Loved Mr. Wizards World.
