I haven't watched the trailers either, but I'm gonna talk about point #3 so maybe don't read this, Eric. xD I can think of another possibility for Emilia Clarke to keep appearing in the show: since for now Gravik is the only one who knows G'iah's dead (if she is), he might use a different skrull to impersonate her and spy on Talos for him.

Thanks for your thoughtful comment! Definitely hoping G'iah isn't dead (skipped reading #3 cuz I haven't seen the trailers and would rather not know). Also definitely assumed her name was spelled Gaia and that she was named after Earth till now xD I really love the possibilities this show has with where it could go. Love the spycraft that's going on here

Hey there Eric, a couple of pieces of info that you might find helpful: 1.) The old man that handed the phone to Talos outside the museum was G'iah in disguise and she had put the Neptune info into the phone in a prior scene so she was essentially tipping him off about the attack by handing him the info in the form of the phone. If you look closely, you can even see the old man she was impersonating, obliviously engrossed in a cell phone conversation down the street in the background when Gravik comes over to the car where G'iah is waiting for him. It's a "blink and you'll miss it" kind of thing. Her strategic shapeshifting and the route she took back to the car were what made the illusion so convincing to Gravik. She was pretty damn slick. Erik actually breaks down her movement path and the strategic thinking behind it in that scene in the 1x03 New Rockstars breakdown. Some truly awesome strategic thinking went into planning that scene. Marvel & Feige never cease to amaze me with the lengths they'll go to in pursuit of high quality cerebral storytelling. 2.) You were exactly right to pick out that Gravik's new regeneration powers look like Aldrich Killian's powers from IRON MAN 3. They are, in fact, one in the same as the Extremis DNA altering drug (finally stabilized as one of the many components of centipede serum by Fitzsimmons in AoS Season 1, which is why Gravik didn't just explode the way Killian & his test subjects did) was one of the genetic sequences that G'iah saw had been loaded into the computer system for the Super Skrull machine. The implication of course is that Gravik has apparently already used it to gain powers. For the record as well, G'iah also saw Groot's, Cull Obsidian's, and an Asgardian Frost Beast's (presumably the unaccounted for one which was still rampaging through London last we saw at the end of THOR: The Dark World) genetic sequences loaded up into the machine/computer network. It's unclear whether Gravik has powers from all 4 sources already simultaneously or whether each of the skrulls on the council will get one power but in the teaser trailer we saw Gravik use Groot's powers so one way or another it seems like Extremis' regeneration/fire breathing won't be his only powerset for the entirety of the show. Actually, the 4 power sets we saw loaded into the machine each sort of correspond to a member of the Fantastic 4 which is a fun little nod to the comics as the first Super Skull in the comics stole his powers from the Fantastic 4. :D 3.) With regards to G'iah's seeming death near the end of the episode, it's important to remember that there are MANY more scenes in the trailers with Emilia Clarke that we haven't seen yet. This leaves 3 possibilities: A. G'iah is truly dead but Emilia will continue on in the show as the human G'iah was impersonating (who many have speculated is none other than Abigail Brand, the mutant head of S.W.O.R.D. in the comics), B. those other scenes in the trailers with Emilia were deleted scenes (highly unlikely, I think), or C. G'iah used the Super Skrull machine to give herself Extremis powers too and she regenerated offscreen after Gravik left and it will be played as a big surprising reveal and then shown in flashback form when she shows up again (the most likely option IMO as we know that she saw the machine, how to use it, and the available powers when she snuck into the lab in episodes 1 & 2). 4.) Last thing is about the phone call at the end with Varra/Priscilla (nicknamed "Scilla" by Fury). Not sure if you caught it at the end of the episode but the voice on the other end of her phone call in the safety deposit vault has now been confirmed to be that of Don Cheadle, AKA Rhodey which means that he's now confirmed to be a skrull as well. Big bombshell to end the episode with. I highly doubt Marvel would want to undermine Rhodey's emotional moments with Tony as he was dying or with Sam in The Falcon & The Winter Soldier so I think it's pretty safe to assume that Rhodey was kidnapped and replaced quite recently. P.S. We've now seen Fury alternate between wearing and not wearing his spy scanner glasses many times in the show and it has many people wondering if we're seeing 2 different Nick Fury's in the field simultaneously. If so, my best guess for the true identity of the second Fury (the one without glasses who meets up with Talos in this episode) is Soren, who might have cooperated with Fury to fake her own death (the very same way that many suspect Maria Rambeau might have cooperated with Fury to fake her own death). It's just speculation for now but don't forget that those glasses have been shown to have all kinds of scanning capabilities (maybe even the same abilities the E.D.I.T.H. glasses had since Talos had them in his possession for several months before giving them to Peter in Far From Home) so when he was staring at Varra's/Scilla's phone with the glasses on, he was almost certainly scanning it the same way Peter scanned Flash's and MJ's phones on the bus in Europe. He may have also been watching Varra's face in infrared to see if she would start flushing or showing hot spots on her face when he asked about Gravik to try and determine whether she was lying to him. Bottom line is, even if there's only 1 Fury in the field, whenever he has those glasses on it's a conscious choice to scan someone he's suspicious of lying or being a skrull so it’s of vital importance to watch when he is or isn’t wearing them. In fact, we still don’t know the identity of the high ranking American official in London that Fury says to Talos in the pub that he’s confirmed is a skrull yet so it might be that Fury figured out that Rhodey was an imposter using his glasses when he met with Rhodey at the bar. Honestly, not sure I'm buying the limp Fury's got going either :P
