2023-07-08 22:13:12 +0000 UTCThe "pre-crime" stuff IS a reference to Minority Report the Stephen Spielberg, Tom Cruise-led film. I remember liking the movie back when it came out, I'm curious about how it holds up now. The film actually does deal with some of these philosophical issues around crime, technology, policing and free will--though I cannot say I remember how well it's actually dealt with. I know that many actual philosophers have engaged the film's premise and conclusions since.
