Bill Nye was indeed REALLY popular when I was growing up. A lot of times teachers would pop in a Bill video at school, lol. Also one of my favorite memories that has to do with Bill Nye was in my Astronomy college class. The teacher had a strict no phones on at class, and you had to leave if it went off. The student left when the phone was ringing but it was chanting the Bill theme song "Bill, Bill, Bill," and the students almost wanted him to be allowed back for that, lol Very random story but I always think of that when I see Bill Nye lol

And I went to school in the early 2000s so people around my age seem to be familiar with him, its kind of like how I had no idea who weird al'' yankovic until last year.
