2023-09-12 23:42:26 +0000 UTCThat is her! Rhea Pearlman. From what I remember reading, according to Mara Wilson (she played Matilda) her and Danny DeVito were so sweet out of character and that helped her be able to make the movie.

2023-09-12 10:04:45 +0000 UTCI loved this movie! I basically dragged my mom to go see it with me and she was in tears by the end she loved it too! Sadly, my aunt has fallen pretty far right, so this whole movie was just "woke propaganda" to her. Me and my mom had a long talk afterward about how sad it was that she couldn't get anything out of this awesome movie when we were both able to. Lots of other women and men too! I think it was Ben Shapiro who got genuinely mad that Ken and Barbie didn't end up together. Like...the whole point of Ken's arc is that he is Kenough! He doesn't need Barbie to bring his life meaning! Of course one of the actresses who plays a Barbie is a trans woman, which sends him into a tailspin because heaven forbid a trans woman even play a side role in a movie, apparently. Also, after watching this I need more Simu Liu comedy, I loved him in Kim's Convenience (I haven't seen Shang Chi yet) and he is so funny in this. This was one time I was sad my wardrobe consisted of mostly black clothing, I wanted to go all out in pink! Glad to see you on theme. Also when she says "Are you shining with a barbie" that's a reference to the movie The Shining! Highly recommend it and the recent sequel, Dr. Sleep. And Ken yelling "SUBLIME" was improv by Ryan Gosling haha. And every Barbie/Ken shown in the film is real! Midge the pregnant Barbie with a magnetic stomach shell that held a baby, Allan, Sugar's daddy, Skipper, Video girl Barbie, the dog that poops when you lift its tail, etc.
