Tonight

Just realized that I don't share enough personal stuff on here lately, so let me fix that. Tonight someone told me I need to work on my PR skills. Yes. It's hard describing what I do. I find I prefer showing than telling. This usually means bringing up Instagram, and (hopefully) realigning their expectations on what body art can be.

Heck, my friends do a better job of hyping me up. My friend Seth would often introduce me as "World Famous Body Painter BRANDON MCGILL". As if he said it enough, it would come true. But he believed in me. And if you are here, I'm hoping you do too.

Finally, it was nice going to the MTB event. I got to show off BLOOM to a few. Though it WAS pointed out that I never go out unless I'm working at a Show. You're not wrong. Working on that.

Thanks for supporting me. Truly. We hit 199 patrons tonight, and I can't stop smiling. So... yeah. <3

I've also been saying you have a eye and talent for body art unsurpassed by anyone I have ever seen. You continue to WOW me with every new project you do. I would definitely also say your world famous body art and painter. I will continue to support you.

It is not uncommon for artists to want, hope and expect their work to speak for itself. Kind of they way that if someone has to explain why a joke is funny, it isn't. For "in person PR" all you really need to do is come up with a few sentences to discribe what you do overall, and what your current project is, then continue the conversation by showing some of your work on the most convenient device. Your networking PR, like being included in the blogs and vlogs of other content creators is what has the most potential to direct new eyes to your work, providing protential customers and models.
