I also found you because of Tumblr - and I'm sad to see it go as well. I will probably delete my account there before the drop dead date. I have created a PornHub account to follow you there, and will remain here as well. If you find another site for your work, I'm sure many will follow. I know it's hard to rebuild the followers you had though.

I originally came across your work on Tumblr... lost track of it... then we ended up chatting over Facebook a couple times and I found my way back to it. I feel like this is such an extreme action on their part. And I also feel like it's going to destroy them.... in addition to messing with great number of creative souls who've used it up to this point. I hope that those people can find other outlets to share and promote their work. The idea that we have to vilify adult content...to declare that it all must be removed... as if the body is something to be ashamed of... is just ridiculous. It is nothing to be ashamed of. It should be viewed in all it's myriad forms. Clothed, unclothed, alone, in pairs, in groups. Even explicit content has it's merits and purposes. There's gotta be a better way than to banish it all. Than to declare that "we don't want you here if this is what you want to share". Than to tell all of these artists that their no longer welcome and that the YEARS they have devoted to a site/service is over unless they are willing to completely change what they share.

Holding out some hope they'll change their tune a little and put more work in where it's due, but not much. It'll be an interesting couple weeks for the new services starting up. Glad I discovered you though, and can still follow you here at least!

As with every other service that has done the same thing over the years, I'll no longer be using it myself. It was good for finding new people with interesting content and not all of it was adult, but there's only been one or two instances where a service had managed to pull off a stunt like this and stay relevant. Within a couple months someone will come in and fill the void, esp if they're like so many others that have considered all LGBT content "adult".

I'm shocked at what a ham-fisted overreaction Tumblr's new policy is. It is going to turn that site into a "tumblr-weed" blowing through the desert of MySpace and LiveJournal.

I'm going to lose my own blog. I just downloaded the images, copied the text. Although I didn't update it much, I used my blog to show people the technology I was creating, and to reclaim and express my sexuality. I have no idea where I'm going to put everything now. Healthy objectification is...healthy. This is terrible news.

It's a sad day, I met people through Tumblr who are very dear to me. But now my account is gone and I will move on, keep doing what you do, I'll follow you here for now.
