Cyberpunk Love
Added 2019-09-16 06:10:19 +0000 UTCRecently I was in Utah and painted this lovely couple pictured above. I have more photos of them coming, but wanted to introduce the piece with a story.
The boyfriend and I had just gotten done arguing, and it was a pretty passionate one. We were also walking into an unfamiliar studio space, on a pretty stressful three week road trip.
The good news is, the couple was very welcoming. There were plenty of snacks, and they even ordered dinner. The shoot was tricky for a variety of reasons, but we got some decent shots. Afterward we said our goodbyes and found...
...a flat tire! So I drove to the hotel on a rapidly deflating wheel, and managed to get there safely. The tire? It was toast. It was replaced, and it COULD of been an absolutely stressful end to the trip.
To make things up, I took us to Vegas for the night, and we ended everything on a much better note! We had already lost a bunch of time, so we decided a break was in order. Plus Best had a lovely experience in Nevada. He loved the room, since they gave us a free upgrade!
Now we have this art to cement the memory.
