Sketches!
Added 2015-09-10 02:41:53 +0000 UTCGetting art for this version has been much, much harder than I ever expected xP For months I worked slowly but steadily at trying to get just the scenes I wanted, on the side, but my plans unraveled and the deadline got closer and closer. Finally I gave up on my original plans for what would go into this game and started pushing for any of the many scenes I want to have illustrated eventually. And it looks like it's gonna work!
Maybe it's just because it feels so good to finally make progress (I really wanted to have art to share with you guys earlier, to keep you happy during the wait) but I actually really like the initial sketches this artist has given me. A lot of the time I feel like people glaze over Lith's appearance and fit him more into their own style or just make him kind of generic, so I was shocked how well these scenes worked for me. Maybe it's just that they're so sketchy I can fill in the details, I don't know xP
Anyway! We're pushing ahead as a rush job on this. It's not, as far as I know, going to be ready for the advance release since I'm planning that for this weekend, but we're set to have it ready in time for the major release. It's going to have swappable parts just like the [Introduce Yourself] picture of Lith, and I'm really excited to see how it turns out!
