An Unlikely Couple
Added 2020-08-22 23:18:58 +0000 UTCNew concepts mean a lot of ideas I don't have any kind of refs for, and that can make art assets especially challenging! Leslongxia was very patient and receptive in working through that process, though. There's always some things I'm flexible on and a lot that I have to be super stringent about, and we probably went through a couple dozen sketches and such working our way around to designs I could finally be happy with. I bought these intending to use them as placeholders, but I have to admit, they came out a lot nicer than I'd expected! For now I think I'll be pretty happy to have these playing the graphical element to the new story I'm building in Project Matchmaker.
I usually talk some about how things have been going in these posts as well, but I guess I should transfer most of that to dev journals from now on. I've still got art cooking up for MVOL and a few more pieces on that side that I still need to find the right artist for, and goodness knows I'll be needing more art for other upcoming projects! It's been a little while since I posted one of these previews, but I expect we'll be seeing more before long!
