Wheel Of Fortune

Another day, and another dazzling debut. It's the Wheel Of Fortune featuring Kerri Schultheis-Barnes. 

Earlier today, I thought to myself I could use a little luck right now. Then I looked at today's reveal, and I realized we all could. The Wheel of Fortune asks you to be open to change, because a turning point is coming. I sure hope so!

It's true though... The wheel of life is constantly turning, changing, and re-arranging. Life is often unpredictable, both the amazing joys and difficult tribulations. That's why I constantly try to practice gratitude, and I frequently vocalize my appreciation for those in my life. We don't have a lot of time, in the grand scheme of things, and anything can change.

Like changing the color grading to cooler colors... Welcome to the stage, the Blue Woman Group!

The Wheel of Fortune card asks you to be optimistic and have faith that the Universe will take care of your situation in the best way possible. This new version is completely replacing the original card reveal, from last year, which I'll share in a moment. My goal in revisiting each of these pieces is to align the colors, position, and flow so every card is engaging (and memorable). That may mean replacing cards that no longer work (in my opinion). Previous card:

That girl is on fire...fire...fire! I went a little ham with the colors and special fx here. I think everyone was really vibing with my animated Tarot Cards, so I started to make them a bit more over the top. It's fun, but too much for my taste.

For the final card, I chose a slightly different pose (and Kerri is not standing in front of plants this time). I think it works better overall, and the balance feels right, with the wheel standing out more (the most important part)!

Quick Fact: Kerri sells stone carvings on Instagram. I purchased a beautiful (but small) Rose Quartz phallus to display with my other minerals. When it came to shooting the Magician Card, I included it on the table with the other items.
