A star is born

Today we're exploring my photoshoot with "The Star" John Vincent Pizzello or "V" for short. 

This was referred to me by Bennett Allen Wood, and sponsored by Paul Covert.

Before I begin, I must advise that all models are given a choice if they wanted to be featured nude or not. V agreed to be painted, but wanted to partially cover their genitals. Thank you in advance for your understanding. 

I wanted to include a few photos of them partially unpainted, but I started on progress shots pretty late into the session. The above photo kind of gives me building vibes coming off of their body. I think I was trying to emulate a night sky in the city, but I can't 100% recall. Remember I did 87 body paintings during this project + whatever I did in Supernova, so my brain is a little rusty. ;p

They also look good in Black and White! Let's talk about the meaning of the card, shall we?

Hope is powerful. The Star Card may mean you are feeling blessed and inspired. The spirit is renewed, and purpose is found once more. V portrays this gorgeously.

Listen to the music inside of your soul. Become the Star! Burn brightly and manifest your dreams, my friends. If you could do anything in life, with your limited time here, what you would choose?

The body painting is a gorgeous combination of elements, and honestly the painting just works. Sometimes it's like that. Sometimes it's not.

That's the fun challenge of being an artist!

The final card, and the previous release are not that different. I warmed up the sky a little, added additional smoke fx, and extended the length slightly because Tarot Cards are LONG. I can't tell you how much this drives me crazy during editing. I honestly gave up trying to do a traditional card size because I didn't like the crops.

If I reach my Kickstarter Stretch Goals... I will offer one anyway. 

But we're starting out with OVERSIZED cards! Shows off the artwork better, wouldn't you think?

I've been trying to spice things up in different tiers as well by including a variety of content. I super appreciate your support my friends.
