[ thankful for you]

It's that time of year where we think about the things that we're thankful for.

I consistently try to practice gratitude every day, so this one is pretty easy for me. Sometimes its also the thing that will get me out of my head if I'm focusing on negatives. 

First, I just want you to know that I'm so incredibly thankful for you. Without Patreon I would not be making art full time, and creating content for so many people. I would not be able to take risks like concoct a whole Tarot deck from 87 body paintings. I wouldn't have been able to explore, and imagine, and tinker to the scale that I do. Every day I wake up, thankful for you. 

On Thursday (or Friday morning when I'm writing this) I spent time with my Dad, Step Mom, and assorted relatives. It was a solid affair but I was surprised (as they were) when I came out as non-binary.  If you want to read more, scroll past the photo of me looking kind of adorkable. 

Brandon: "Even my purse is teal. It's kind of my power color."

Stepmom: "You mean Man Bag"

Brandon: "No, I call it a purse"

Stepmom: "Yeah but most people just call them a bag these days"

Brandon: "I'm Non-Binary, so it doesn't bother me calling it a purse".

The conversation got awkward, as we navigated "They/Them". However to their credit, they both accepted it without too much of a fuss. Even if my Dad tried to argue it was confusing as a singular article. So I said:

"When you are thinking of someONE, you are imagining THEM. You wonder how THEY are doing."

After family time, I went over to my good friend Jeff's house (you've seen us pal around before), and we basically hung out eating delicious food and playing Animal Crossing all day. They certainly made quite the feast, and I've already snacked on it since I've gotten home. I've discovered that they are quite the cook!

On the downside, I forgot my phone at their house, so I have to pick it up the next day! Most people can't imagine me without my phone I'm sure. :P

Besides that, it was a pretty decent day. Hope you had a nice one, however you spent it!
