Jonathan same name only Morganstern , which is what Valentine named them both. He kept them both hidden until they were 10, then sent Jonathon to Edom and Jace to the Lightwoods, so he could hide and rebuild the circle. He kept Jace from knowing about Jonathan...but in the books Jonathan knew about Jace. Valentine had 3 kids Jonathan whom he tolerated but never loved, Clary whom he never raised and in the books he hated, and Jace who wasn
