Wow! I'm alive!

The last week has been a whirlwind. Rewind to last week, when Atlas contacted me the day before his flight letting me know he wasn't feeling 100%, but it was also too late to cancel the flight. We looked at our options, but ultimately we decided to take a risk.

We made some amazing art! But I also got dreadfully sick. ☠

Luckily I bounced back relatively fast... I'm still here, and I want to thank you for your patience. I'll make it up to you! <3 Let's dig in...

Working with Atlas again was a treat, and I'm really happy with the outcome. I took a more painterly approach here.

What inspired the artwork? I mentioned they reminded me of Amethyst from Steven Universe, which got me thinking about making a Crystal Cavern of sorts on his stomach. So I looked at lots of photos of geodes for inspiration!
