LOST S03E01: A Tale of Two Cities (Cut Reaction)

1. Good. 2. The show is very rarely clear about anything, so pretty much anything is debatable, but it's pretty conclusive that the button made the plane crash. 3. Correct, you don't know what the button is truly all about. 4. Well a popular theory for people is that the island is a dream, hallucination, purgatory etc etc. That's a good question to ask... why would Penny be looking for that? 5. Good. 6. Yes, but now you have actually seen it... and it was quite the twist. 7. Quote from Premiere "It only took the bears 2 hours". Dharma brought them there. There was also a Polar Bear on the swan hatch orientation video to, so you could have deduced from that as well. Like I say, every answer leads to more questions.

Not sure I agree with all of them but hey we are all entitled to our own opinions. Sure we found out how desmond got there and what happened to him when it was on the island Its not confirmed the button had anything to do with the plane crash. for me it seems to be a good possibility. yes the button is real but i still dont really understand what it did. i know it obviously did something with electromagnetic whatever but thats it. Who ever questioned if the island was real and why would penny be looking for that? Yes we know at least two people who drew the map. We already knew the Others lived on the island. How exactly did we find out how the polar bears got there?

You say the show has answered no questions in the finale and premiere, but it answered the following: 1. Desmonds story before the island, how he got to the island and his time on the island. 2. Why the plane crashed and split in half. 3. The button is the real deal, not an experiment. The pearl station was the experiment. 4. The show is not a hallucination or a dream etc, because the island events affected the real world as Penny was looking for an electromagnetic anomaly and found it. This was the first time we saw the outside world in present time. 5. Who drew the ? map. 6. Where The Others live. 7. Where the polar bears come from. Every question they answer, always leads to more questions. This will always be the case.
