Hello friends! Last week I painted seven people to test out some new (and existing techniques) in order to create a glossy or wet surface, while attempting to keep the art intact! No easy task!
I used Glycerin, Water, Setting Spray, Silver Paint, Highlighter, Metallic Powder, Glitters, and more to create the illusions, with mixed results! Some were more dramatic, while other subtle. All really valuable data when trying to learn!
It was tough to decide who to show first, but in the end, I really liked the artwork on Bennett! But don't worry, I've got LOTS to share! And you've been seeing more video too... I'm not letting what happened with YouTube ruin something special. <3
Ready to see more? I'll be posting more, nearly every day, over the next week! But first, LET IT RAIN with these gorgeous photos. Did you spot Bennett wearing my favorite Wig?
That's right, I promise he didn't grow his hair for this. I'll be posting some extra photos later tonight, at some higher tiers, featuring the wigless look! But for the purposes of this art piece, I think it really suits it. Kinda goes with the whole shrub vibe!
What's the theme? I'll give you a moment to guess....
Hanging Gardens! I was imagining how much I loved the idea of plants and water, working harmoniously together, like they did in the 7th Wonder of the World.
Ok, you caught me, I'm a bit Civilization Fan! Did you catch the new trailer? Big overhaul to the game! I'm very intrigued to say the least.
Here is an up close shot featuring glitter, metallic paint, glycerin, and more! Some of the shoots feature a bigger focus on the shine, but to be honest, I wanted this artwork to be good here :P
What do you think? Ready to see six more models? Or more or Bennett? Thanks for the support... as it truly means the world!
Love,
Brandon
