The Neon Dreams of David

I'm back with more art, as promised! You have been so patient while I've tried to get better from whatever bug is wrecking my system. On the bright side, I've got some new WET art for you, in the form of these beautiful photos of David!

Whenever I create with someone, I try to discover hidden pieces of joy... simple things like favorite artists, colors, bands, or favorite escapes. You can learn a lot about someone by talking with them, and every painting is Art + Really Relaxed Conversation.

David had mentioned he really liked blue, and also neon green! He even brought underwear that inspired the color scheme for this painting. Look at that happiness! It's the power of accessories, and positive vibes in the studio.

Of course, I know you're excited to see more of the artwork, so without further adieu...

Wow ! I really love how this came out. Sometimes it's days before I look at the photos on my camera, and this one surprised me. It truly was a magical session!

Part of the magic comes from the lack of a time limit! The other WET paintings I committed to finishing within a few hours, but this one was rescheduled to a day where I was open all day.

Plenty of time to make good art, and to reconnect after not seeing David for a number of years! And yes, I know it's kind of confusing that I work with a number of Davids, but I'm not the one naming people ;p

Did you notice the new techniques! That's right, I painted neon RAIN DROPS made from hot glue and attached them to the model. It worked better than I expected, so you'll see it return!
