Revisiting Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts is a franchise known by many as the original property of Square Enix (with Tetsuya Nomura's stamp all over it). What made this series unique though was it's collaboration with Disney, relatively novel at the time to see in video games.

I've decided to have a little "Retro Sunday" vibe today, and share some NEW images (that nobody has seen) from this body painting with the beautiful Brendan!

It really should get some more love...

Including portraits, like the above! There was only a short period of time where I explored using bright yellow lighting like this in my artwork. It was certainly a mood!

Now Brendan is no stranger to Kingdom Hearts paintings... remember this one that I did with them? These were around the time he was dating Tyler, another one of my early models.

It features ACTUAL spaghetti in the artwork. True story.

The models arrived, and I was still cooking it for them. I announced it was "almost done", and they said "No thanks, we already ate".

I laughed, of course, and said "It's not for your belly, it's for your body".

 Here is one last new image (above) before I share a previously featured one (below) that I wanted to end the post with!

It's almost as it I'm saying "Take my hand, we have a LOT more artwork to show you!"
