The thing about Clary and her memories and Simon. I have a few possibilities. One being the Angels took her memories of him (and Luke) away in order to make things cleaner, not have her go looking for him. Or two, she remembers him, but like his Mum, she thinks he died.

2019-12-01 17:44:42 +0000 UTCI actually like this ending better, mind you, I guess I quite like more realistic endings and I liked that Clary had to face consiquences while the books felt rather lack luster to me, I guess I was expecting more deaths and more consequences for different things and it just didn't happen. Only two deaths and not important characters, yes there wasn't much death in the TV series but I felt like it had more consequences to other peoples actions.

2019-11-30 15:09:44 +0000 UTCIt's confusing because it is completely different from the books. Clary could make any Rune she wanted to make, angels didn't care. As much as we all love Alec and Magnus, they were a small part of the books. Clary and Jace ARE the books. None of that ever happened. Jonathan was killed by Heavenly fire in Edom. They traded Simons immortality to Asmodeus to get back home. Simon is the one who forgot the shadow world. He is the one who started to finally remember , and in the end became a shadowhunter...he still had angel blood from Jace. Simon and Izzy were together in the end. The wedding was for Luke and Jocelyn. Clary and Jace lived happily ever after.....I think that is part of the reason I hesitated watching the reactions...pisses me off every time :) If you would like to see Alberto (Simon) he is now on Chicago Fire. Dom (Jace) will be on Penny Dreadful (City of Angels). There is another person on a show....but I can't tell you cause it's a spoiler. Thanks for the ride!
